Winter Break has come and gone, and there's only 48 DAZE left till St. Pat's, but we've still got some cold weather ahead of us.  Here are the top ten ways to fill your stomach, tickle your taste buds, and warm your soul with Chartwells Dining.

10.  Einstein Bros.' new Maple Oatmeal Egg Sandwich.  Or just the bagel on its own, toasty with honey butter.

9.  Corn Nuggets at Havener Food Court.  Specifically, the Home Off The Range station.  Wait, you ask, how can we find out when corn nuggets are being served if the menu always changes?  Ah, well follow us on Twitter (@MSTChartwells) and we will hashtag every #CORNNUGGETS alert.

8.  Einstein Bros. two new 'slim' drinks: Skinny Vanilla Latte and Fat Free Chai Latte.

7. The ever popular Jackbird spicy chicken sandwich at Coyote Jack's Grill on buttery Texas toast.

6. Make a break for Miner Break Cafe to try a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha or White Hot Chocolate.

5. The Club Mex Wrap at Einstein Bros.  Whole wheat wrap, hot egg (or egg white) and turkey sausage, jalapeno cream cheese, pepperjack cheese, and ancho salsa.  Clears up the sinuses.

4. January is National Soup Month!  Your favorite Baked Potato Soup every Tuesday and Thursday at Havener Food Court.  Also featuring home made chunky chili (shout out to Rosia) and a rotating special.  Don't worry, we will still carry soups in February and beyond.

3. Miner Break Cafe has a new friend - a four slice toaster.  Have you toasted a new Maple Oatmeal Bagel yet?  Toastliness.

2. That colorful cooler at Havener Food Court - The Veggie Patch - can grill up any full size wrap.  Your vegetarian favorites crispy and hot.

1. A dining tradition at Missouri S&T - Taco Fridays at TJ Dining Hall and Rayl Dining Hall.  But don't be limited to tacos - go for burritos, taco salads, or nachos a la Joe Miner (extra jalapenos and banana peppers).

Howdy Miners, enjoy your Monday in honor of Dr. King.  Note that Chartwells Dining is running modified operating hours this weekend.  We will resume normal hours on Tuesday 16 January.  Click here for our full weekend's schedule (PDF).

December...the home stretch

Howdy Miners!

Did your Thanksgiving Break go as fast as ours did?  If you stayed around Rolla, you may have seen some new faces at Einstein Bros.  The management staff tied on their aprons and got the run of the place!  It's always good to get a refreshed perspective, from both sides of the counter.  We're not quite as expertful as our associates who serve you day in and day out, of course.

It's now the home stretch till the end of 2011, can you believe it?  December is a time when we all get to buckle down before relaxing with friends and family.  S&T faculty, staff, students, and everyone at Chartwells is getting in the holiday spirit.

You will want to check out these December events for more holiday cheer...
